Both your "Secret Sharer" and Bleak House analyses will be returned on Monday.  You will have the week to rewrite one of them.  Your rewrite will be due on Friday, October 1st.

Homework: Review figurative language terminology; Complete the activity on pages 56-57 in your course pack.

Make sure to complete the following steps for each passage:

1.Read the passage
2.Identify the author.
3.Identify the narrator (write this down)
4.Identify the subject of the passage (what is being talked about) (write this down)
5.Identify the narrator’s attitude towards the subject. This will give you the tone (write this down.)
