1)  ACTIVELY read “The Act of Writing: One Man’s Method” by William Zinsser, “What is style” by Mavis Gallant, and “Notes on Punctuation” by Lewis Thomas.  (Annotate ALL three essays)   2)   Read your syllabus.  Mark anything you want me to further explain.
