February Vacation

First of all, HAVE FUN! Take a day or two off, even if you have a lot of homework to do. You deserve it.
1) Over vacation you should read ALL of Heart of Darkness. Heart of Darkness is a dense and difficult text; but, it is short. This means you have the luxury of taking your time while reading it. When you come back you will have a test on the novella - to assess your reading and understanding. We will then work through the novella again as a class.
2) Read half of your independent reading book over vacation. You will also need to complete half of your Major Works Data sheet. The data sheet with explanations is attachedhere. An empty data sheet is attached here.
3) Frankenstein passages and multiple choice questions. Next to EACH QUESTION write WHY you picked the answer that you did. You will not get higher than a 60% if you DON'T do this. The document is attached here.
4) No Moodle homework over vacation.
