I can't wait to meet all of you.  I know that this week is rather chaotic, switching from Semester 1 to Semester 2 classes!  I am excited, nonetheless, to get to know all of you and delve into our course of study.   I do want to warn you that at times you may find the work to be challenging and down right painful, but if you survive the course, you will leave feeling accomplished and prepared for whatever challenges you are bound to face in the future.  

On our first day I will handout your syllabus and some course readings.  These will be posted under "Day 1."  You will find that over the course of the semester I will post most documents online.  This is so that if you forget or lose your materials you will have a place to download them.  I will not have extra copies of handouts and readings in the classroom if they are posted online.  

To get you started I have posted your syllabus here.  Please make sure that it is signed by both you and your parents/guardians for Friday, January 21st.
