Take your rough drafts home - edit and work on them.  EVERY INDIVIDUAL should have an article to read over.  As you edit these articles, ask yourself the following questions:

1) Does the article expose the "department" accurately and honestly?
2) Is there a bias or has the writer done his/her best to remain impartial?
3) Are both perspectives expressed (both outsider and insider)?

4)  Is there a clear focus for the article?

5)  Is the article engaging?

For class tomorrow you need to have a 1) completed rough draft, 2) transcript of interviews, 3) a picture to pair with your article, and 4) a Works Cited Page.

All classes are meeting in the Mr. Ware’s computer lab on the third floor of the Arts building.

The Newspaper Project Rubric is attached here.
