Read and annotate "The Famished Road."  (Make sure you have read through chapter 10 in Things Fall Apart, as you might have a short quiz tomorrow.)

*If you want to bring in food or beverages tomorrow for Ms. Devlin's last day feel free.*

April Vacation Homework:

1)  Write a folktale (use the folktale in Chapter 11 and the sample folktales passed out today as models)

Folktales will have to be submitted onto turnitin.

2)  Read through Chapter 17 in Things Fall Apart and complete log entries for chapters 11-17.

Write one journal entry for each chapter read.  (That is SIX total.)

**I have an emergency doctor's appointment that I have to go to tomorrow so I won't be in class.  Ms. Devlin will be teaching.  You will do some review for the midterm and start talking about Things Fall Apart - specifically the three male characters introduced in the first three chapters.  Over the weekend please read chapters 3&4.  Email me any questions or concerns.
