AP Literature and Composition

Reminders:
1)  The Handmaid's Tale project is due on Monday, January 10th
2)  One of the final exam passages will be given out on Monday.
3) Feedback on the Frost and Keats' comparative poetry analysis is posted here.

Study for Vocabulary Quiz 12.  The sentence pattern for this week is parallel structure.
Work on your final project.

1. Complete your data sheet for your second independent reading book.
2. Read through page 255 in The Handmaid's Tale.

On Monday you will write in class an essay on your independent reading book.  You will be able to use your data sheet when writing your essay, but not the actual book. 

Study for your vocabulary quiz tomorrow.  The sentence pattern is epistrophe (the opposite of anaphora).
Tomorrow we will finishing talking about Offred's development through Chapter 24, but then you will have time to work on your final project.

In The Handmaid's Tale read to page 159.

Read to page 133 in The Handmaid's Tale.

You will have your weekly vocabulary quiz on Thursday this week.

Start reading The Handmaid's Tale.  You will love it!!!!!  Read to Part 3: Night.  This is around 33 pages.
Complete half of your data sheet for your second independent reading book.  You will present a short synopsis of your reading on Monday.

Final literature circle is TOMORROW!!!!  Prepare role sheets.
